Drown This City share new single 'In Your Image' to mark UNFD signing

Let it be known that hence forth, June 20 will forever be Drown This City day, for the Melbourne band chose this day of days to hit us with the three-for-one: Announcing their signing to UNFD, unleashing hell with their new single ‘In Your Image’, and dropping a run of headline tour dates.

‘In Your Image’ bears the unmistakable ferocity of a band who have been itching to return to our speakers and headphones.

Indeed, it has been all quiet on the Drown This City front for some time, but with ‘In Your Image’, that silence is set to be forever broken. ‘In Your Image’ is the first new cut from the group since last year’s ‘Third Law’, and the EP will be the first such release since 2016’s False Idols.

‘In Your Image’ comes out of the gate swinging haymakers; an impenetrable wall of post-hardcore fury. The track is the first warning shot from their forthcoming EP Alpha // Survivor, set to drop through UNFD on Friday, July 5th.

Speaking of the hard-fought EP, vocalist Alex Reade says “We’ve been through heart ache, break downs, low moments and the highest of highs and together have only gotten stronger.”

“We’ve supported each other to be powerful as well as vulnerable, and through this connection we’ve come out of dark times and rebuilt Drown This City, ready to be released in its new form.”

Following the release of the EP, the band will be hitting the highways of Australia’s East Coast in support, kicking in the doors of a AM//PM event near you.
