With just over a week until the first shows kick off, Young Thug has had to pull out of the Laneway Festival due to visa issues.
Luckily, Dune Rats have stepped in to replace the hip hop star at all Laneway shows.
Their new album The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit comes out on Febraury 3, so the timing couldn’t be more perfect. The band are pretty excited, too, saying: “We were STOKED when we got the call up to join the 2017 Laneway Festival line-up. Years ago these legends were the first touring festival to take a punt on us and we had the time of our lives. We can’t wait to do it all again! Cya in just over 1 week!!”
If you bought Laneway tickets just to see Young Thug, refunds are available from here – but be warned, you need to sort this before Saturday at 12:30pm, so don’t leave it for your Sunday chores list (you have one of those, right).
