Next week Eminem will officially become a restaurateur, with the opening of his brand new restaurant in Detroit.
It’s not unusual for a star to extend their brand into another direction, however this is the first time that Eminem is foraying into the world of dining.
And the restaurant’s namesake takes from a sentiment very close to the rapper: Mom’s Spaghetti.
Yep, we’re talking about those classic lyrics to his song ‘Lose Yourself’.
You know, “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy /There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”
As reported by Consequence Of Sound, his new eatery is set to open this week on the 29th of September in downtown Detroit.
A short commercial for the new restaurant was aired on local TV last week with big old school vibes. It almost could have been a commercial from the ’90s.

In the ad, it was revealed what patrons will be able to expect from the menu, including some classics and some variations on them including noodle and marinara-focused cuisine like spaghetti sandwiches and classics like spaghetti and meatballs.
While we know that the rapper is well established in the music industry and dabbled in the business of acting, but we’ll have to wait and see just how well his spaghetti menu hits the spot.
