Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin have announced their first-ever co-headlining tour in North America. The Latin powerhouses will be joined by rising star Sebastian Yatra, who will perform as a special guest on the tour.
Kicking off on September 5 in Phoenix, the massive tour uniting two of the biggest Latin performers will make stops in cities such as Chicago, New York, Miami and Los Angeles. It will wrap up on October 30 in Atlanta.
“I thought this would happen some time, but didn’t know when,” Iglesias said Wednesday at a press conference announcing the tour, while Yatra called the invitation to join the tour the “most surreal moment in my life.”
“If I didn’t have the chance to be on stage, I would buy a ticket to see you,” Yatra told his new tourmates. “I visualized this in my life. They are two of my biggest idols.”
Both superstars in their own right, the Grammy-winning artists boast chart-topping success throughout their careers, landing No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including Iglesias’ ‘Bailamos,’ which hit No. 1 on the chart dated Sept. 4, 1999, and ‘Be With You’ on June 24, 2000, and Martin’s smash hit “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” which topped the chart dated May 8, 1999.
We cannot wait to see what Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin get up to on stage together.
Tickets for the highly anticipated tour go on sale to the general public starting March 12. See tour dates below:
