Noughties Pop-Punk mainstay End of Fashion have announced they will reform for a one-off gig in Perth this Saturday.

Fans might remember the band’s speedy rise to fame in 2005, with single ‘O’Yeah’ reaching the Hottest 100 Top 10 of the same year.

EOF lead singer Justin Burford took to Facebook earlier this week to announce the news.

“So excited to announce that End Of Fashion will be performing a very special show at Amplifier THIS SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!! How very Prince of us to do this at such short notice haha!! With an (almost) original line up, we will be supported by the ridiculously talented Tim Nelson and Ben Witt!” he wrote.

After releasing less prominent second and third albums, the band went on hiatus, with its members shifting focus towards solo work and other side projects. While reflecting on the band’s decline back in 2014, Burford suggested that triple j was to blame, accusing the station of ignoring the band after their first album.

Despite their time apart, Burford and the band seem excited to be back on the horse, speaking briefly to Perth venue Amplifier about performing together after such a long time.

“It’s really exciting” Burford said. “Rehearsing these songs with this line up has been so much fun, it was amazing how everything just clicked back in place. I guess these songs are in our bones. And to be able to perform at Amps, a place that has very special meaning for us, is a big delicious cherry on top.”

Catch the band this Saturday at The Amplifier in Perth. More info on Facebook.
