Are you looking for one of the most explosive lineups you’ll see all year? Then you might want to head over to Berry in NSW, where this year’s Fairgrounds Festival is delivering the goods.
Look, we get it. You’re nearing the end of the year, and the summer festivals keep coming at you like the flies that will probably surround you at said festival.
But as they say, not all festivals are created equal, with Fairgrounds Festival proving that today by unleashing one of the slickest lineups you’ll find this year.
Held out in the regional New South Wales town of Berry, this year is set to see home huge local and international heavyweights hit the stage, including none other than Britpop icon Liam Gallagher.
Gearing up to release his second solo album just next month, Gallagher will be joined on the lineup by the likes of DMA’S, Dope Lemon, Meg Mac, and Kasey Chambers, who will be performing the 20th anniversary of her debut, The Captain.
It doesn’t end there though, with Julia Jacklin, The Babe Rainbow, Hatchie, 100, and The Buoys joining the lineup, while huge international favourites like The Lemonheads and Nilüfer Yanya also appear on the bill.
Needless to say, this yer’s Fairgrounds Festival is set to be one of their biggest on offer, and will likely inspire a few music-lovers to take a trip down the coast.
Tickets to this year’s Fairgrounds Festival go on sale from 9am on Wednesday, August 28th. Pre-sales kick off 24 hours earlier, with punters urged to register to be in with the chance to win the Ultimate Fairgrounds Weekend Experience.
