The Butterfly Effect have shows booked in, with a mysterious singer taking vocal duties, and the band’s new team are keeping mum on the identity of the new frontman.

123 Agency Signs Drunk Mums To Artist Roster
“Drunk Mums have officially chosen Damo Costin as their Booking Agent. The decision was as easy as 123,” says band manager James Young of Cherry Rock. Costin and the team at 123 Agency are just as excited to throw their support behind the band, who are currently recording their second album, as the latest addition to the burgeoning booking agency’s 24 signed artists. Drunk Mums are formerly from Cairns, Queensland, but headed south down the Newell Highway, bringing their 70s-influenced Aussie Pub Rock with-a-twist to their new home in Melbourne. They have dirty hair, pristine faces and pristine tunes. Their debut 5-track EP Eventual Ghost and debut LP showcased a band with trippy guitars, three singer-songwriters and a tamborine player, who is more like an unpredictable art installation than a musician. “Drunk Mums are going places. So are 123,” says manager James Young. “I feel excited for the music lovers of Australia right now. Fucking interesting times ahead! Bring it.”

Produced by Sonny Truelove (Before Their Eyes, Sienna Skies, Creations, Angela’s Dish, For All Eternity) at STL Studios on NSW’s Central Coast , the LP includes singles ‘Grave Digger’ and ‘The Runner and The Fighter’, a track which has already received airplay support from Triple J. The five-piece band are all experienced musicians – previously of well-known and now defunct Brisbane bands The Dream The Chase and Amberain, whilst Zachary Britt is also vocalist for popular Melbourne metalcore band Dream On Dreamer.
