Sure to become one of those classic “were you there?!” tales of true Aussie festival folklore, Phil Jamieson’s just announced acoustic set at Festival Of The Sun is one gig that’s not to be missed.

Dangled like a live music carrot since the release of this year’s set times a couple of weeks ago, special guest Phil Jamieson, the charismatic front man of the iconic Australian band Grinspoon is set to grace the festival’s acoustic stage.

Joining him will be two or three legendary musicians under the moniker ‘The Shivering Fits’. Together, Phil Jamieson and ‘The Shivering Fits’ will unite and play and eclectic collection of songs. It’s sure to be a must-see performance.

“I have been nagging Phil to play Festival of the Sun for years,” said Festival Of The SunEntertainment Manager Scott Mesiti.

“This year I’ve got him! He’s an amazing songwriter and I think it will go down an absolute treat.”
