First Band Of Meredith Music Festival 2015 Lineup Announced

The wheels are beginning to turn real fast over at the Meredith Music Festival 2015 camp. Aunty Meredith officially opened her annual ticket ballot last month and now she’s revealed the first name slated for the forthcoming lineup and it’s none other than Father John Misty.

The former Fleet Foxes musician will play the highly coveted Saturday Night sunset slot during what will be the 25th anniversary of Meredith festival. The singer-songwriter will be appearing off the back of his latest album, I Love You, Honeybear.

“In rapturous news just hand-delivered to my caravan, Father John Misty has accepted our invitation to play at Sunset, in The Sup’, for The 25th Meredith,” Aunty Meredith herself wrote in a statement this morning.

“There’s the man himself, there’s his music, and his band. Then there’s his popularity, and there will be anticipation, and excitement. And there’s Sunset, on the second night, in the Supernatural Amphitheatre: the sweet spot.”

This year’s Meredith will kick off, as always, at the start of the coming summer, taking place over 11th, 12th, and 13th December in the “Supernaturalest Amphitheatre on Earth”. As for the rest of that all-important lineup, organisers promise it will be “out and about soon enough”.

Those who’ve been to Meredith before will know there’s only one way to score tickets and that’s through the festival’s famous Ticket Ballot, which is still officially open to all comers, new and old alike, but Aunty Meredith warns it’s set to close soon.
