New Zealand’s comedy auteurs Flight of the Conchords have performed a new song ‘Father and Son’ on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, ahead of the release of their HBO special.
Bret and Jermaine performed the stunning ballad on the late-night show on September 24, but prior to this featured the track on their UK tour earlier this year, as NME reports. The song will also feature on the upcoming HBO special Flight of the Conchords: Live in London.
‘Father and Son’ explores the relationship of a father (Jermaine) and son (Bret). In true Flight of the Conchords fashion, showcases their knack for call and response comedy. It’s nice to see that after so many years, FOTC are still in top form.

Flight of the Conchords: Live in London is set to be released through HBO on October 6.
