Frances Bean Cobain has continued to tease her upcoming music career, previewing another new song on Instagram recently.

For a while now, the daughter of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain and Hole’s Courtney Love has been hitting up social media to show her followers the music she’s been performing. Since she started sharing her tunes, we’ve seen Frances Bean Cobain cover a number of tracks, including Jimmy Eat World’s ‘The Middle’ and Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’, but recently she began to start sharing her own original compositions on her social accounts.

Hitting up Instagram again yesterday, Cobain shared a new original tune which many commenters have compared to the likes of Stevie Nicks’ early work. “What she lacks in technical precision, she makes up for with charisma,” the video’s caption reads.

While Frances Bean Cobain has been hinting at a music career in the past, she revealed to E! earlier this year that she’s not too sure what the future holds for her in terms of being a creative.

“With regards to music, I don’t want to pigeon hole myself and say I am a musician or a visual artist because I feel like it’s all encompassing and I feel like every bit of my art is related to the other,” she explained.

“So do I want to pursue my music further and see it come to fruition and see something further and see something palpable? Absolutely.”

Considering her status as the daughter of the biggest name in grunge music, some Nirvana fans might be disappointed to hear that Frances Bean Cobain isn’t taking her music in an alternative rock direction. However, considering how her music has continued to evolve over the last few years, we can’t wait to hear what sort of music will be featured on her first official release when it eventually comes.
