There are three certainties in life: Death, taxes and that everyone is, on some level, a Limp Bizkit fan. So, it’s safe to say that literally every woman, child and man in Australia should be made aware of the fact that the bands frontman Fred Durst may be geeing us up for an Australian tour announcement.

In an Instagram story posted yesterday, Durst threw up a rather dashing black and white selfie; with a curious Kangaroo emoji placed ‘pon his lips. Nothing else really happens other than the Red Capped one saying “What would you do…if I take off to…?” So, while no Australian plan is actually confirmed, we didn’t develop these fine instincts over millions of years of evolution just to ignore them.

Fred Durst

The news first broke via the folks at Wall Of Sound who crunched the numbers on this potential tour tease, revealing that there could be in fact one of three reasons for Durst to be Rollin’ our way. Whole the band enjoy an undying love with Australians, as we saw on their latest sojourn as part of Download Festival 2018, Fred may be rocking up solo as part of the promotional schedule for his feature-film debut The Fanatic.

The star of the film, John Travolta is an avid QANTAS fan…QANTAS has a Kangaroo emoji on it also…hmm…

There is the potential that the mysterious social post alludes to yet another festival announcement as we edge closer and closer to Festival season but with rumblings of new material – the band recently aired the unheard track Wasteoid – We’re going put our money on a fully fledged headline Australian tour.

Or, yeah, the dude was bored and fucking around on Instagram. Also entirely likely.
