Frenzal Rhomb release their ninth album Hi-Vis High Tea on May 26, and one of the various pre-order album packages comes with a Hi-Vis Selfie Skate Deck, a wonderfully designed piece by Sydney artist Glenno – who also designed the cover of Frenzal’s 2011 record ‘Smoko At The Pet Food Factory.
The skate deck is limited to 200 units, and comes as part of a pre-order pack with a transparent highlight yellow vinyl LP (one of 500 copies), a Frenzal tee, and a stubby holder. It’ll set you back $142.95.
Hi-Vis High Tea is “a concept album about a whole bunch of different concepts”, according to the band, and was produced by Bill Stevenson from Descendents, who worked with the band on their last album, and Jason Livermore.
Listen to the album’s lead single ‘Cunt Act’ below. It’s a pop gem, despite the title – or perhaps, because of it.
Frenzal are touring nationally soon. Check dates here.
