Glass Animals are looking for a 3D scan of your head. But don’t worry, they “won’t deepfake you or anything”.

That’s according to a new call out on the band’s Instagram page. The Oxford group are putting together a new music video, and are urging fans to send them a 3D scan of their own noggin.

In the Instagram post, they shared a clip showing fans exactly how they can scan their own head and potentially take part in the video.

“YO. we need 3d scans of your heads for a video we’re making. don’t worry we won’t deep fake you or anything,” they wrote in the caption, adding that they are “just gonna mess around with all of these and create something”.

Those who’d like to get involved in the wacky project will need to download the Trnio 3D scanning app. Once you’ve successfully captured yourself in all your glory, you’ll need to send it to [email protected] by 9am AEST on Monday, July 27th.

Glass Animals are due to release their new album Dreamland next month. The album has previously been postponed by them in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

“All eyes and minds needed to be focused on civil rights and understanding how to defeat prejudice, and we made the decision to pause our album release plan indefinitely,” they explained in an Instagram post.
