Arguably the greatest festival in the world, Glastonbury 2011 has announced the first artists of this year’s epic line up. U2, Coldplay, and Beyonce are confirmed as the three headliners as already rumoured, while recent visitors to Australia (and who also got booted off stage at the same festival for being so wasted in 2005) Primal Scream will headline the Other Stage on Friday with Mumford & Sons in the slot before them on the evening, going head to head with U2.
Other confirmed acts include Anna Calvi, BB King, Big Boi, Crystal Castles, The Chemical Brothers, Friendly Fires, Fleet Foxes, Gruff Rhys, Janelle Monae, Laura Marling, James Blake and Warpaint.
