We really hope that the band plays along with this brand new coffee branding potential, we’ve seen the phrase “Wake Me Up When September Blends” roaming around, and we can’t believe it isn’t official promo. We also want to taste this new bean juice brand, since the band seem so adamant on it being phenomenal.
In other recent Green Day news, Billie Armstrong blames his own band for rock losing its attitude.
During an appearance on KROQ, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong talked about the band’s new song ‘Father of All…’, as well as the band’s new song, their massive tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer, and the current state of rock music, which he believes Green Day has negatively affected.
“We’re guilty of rock music trying to write the feel-good song of the year, in a lot of ways,” said Billie Armstrong, frontman of the band.
“I think that it’s (rock) lost its attitude in a lot of ways, he said.
