Fans are undoubtedly getting excited for the forthcoming tour from Greta Van Fleet, with the rockers announcing Golf Alpha Bravo as the support act for their imminent Aussie visit.

Australian fans of Greta Van Fleet were obviously left feeling a little bit disappointed earlier this year when the group were forced to postpone the remaining dates of their debut tour of the country.

After performing two shows in Sydney, singer Josh Kiszka revealed that he had managed to develop an “upper respiratory infection that has gradually evolved into laryngitis.”

While he took time off to heal, Greta Van Fleet soon announced they would be returning to Australia in September to help wrap up the remainder of their tour.

Now, with just over a month to go until the second part of their trek down under kicks off, the band have unveiled the stunning artist who will be joining them for these highly-anticipated shows.

Announced today, Gab Winterfield’s Golf Alpha Bravo project will be hitting the road this September, bringing his clean reverb guitar tones, mid and up-tempo rhythms, and melodic basslines to the people.

The new solo moniker of the Jagwar Ma singer-guitarist, these will be some of Golf Alpha Bravo’s first-ever live performances, with plans to serve as the opener for Dope Lemon in August, and only a few live dates over the past few months.

Releasing his debut single, ‘Groove Baby Groove’ next month, Golf Alpha Bravo has drawn comparisons to the likes of eclectic musicians such as R. L. Burnside, Jimi Hendrix, and even BadBadNotGood, suiting Winterfield as a rather perfect addition to these upcoming evenings of phenomenal rock music.

All shows on Greta Van Fleet’s Aussie tour are sold out, with the exception of their appearance at Melbourne’s Festival Hall, which has just seen final tickets made available.
