Groovin The Moo has added two acts to its 2019 lineup after one international artist was forced to cancel.

It’s been a rough few weeks for Aussie festivals, with the NSW Government doing their best to suppress them at every turn, and Ozzy Osbourne pulling out of Download. Now, another festival has had to switch up their lineup just a tad following a cancellation.

As triple j reports, US producer TOKiMONSTA has revealed that she has been forced to cancel her upcoming appearance at Groovin The Moo due to some “unforeseen circumstances”.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, I’m no longer able to make it out to Australia in April and May 2019,” TOKiMONSTA explained in a statement.

“Unfortunately this includes Groovin the Moo. I am looking forward to returning again soon though – hopefully next year!”

Of course, while fans would undoubtedly have been wondering who would replace TOKiMONSTA, their prayers have been answered early, with not one, but two artists stepping to fill the gap.

Yes, Groovin The Moo are now welcoming Aussie icon Wafia onto the bill, along with UK rapper Jimothy, in what is set to be a pair of stunning sets.

In related news, it was reported yesterday that this year’s Canberra leg of the Groovin The Moo festival is set to break new ground, with pill testing trials being given the green light to proceed.
