Coming off the back of a successful year in 2014, which saw metalcore four-piece In Hearts Wake ripping through regional Australia, Indent have announced this year’s Indent Tour will be headlined by Aussie post-hardcore favourites Hands Like Houses.
Joining them as touring support on all dates will be pop-punkers Columbus, marking a first for the Indent Tour, which in 2015 will be hitting up Campbelltown, Orange, Scone, Batemans Bay, Goulburn, and Sydney between 25th September and 4th October.
Now in its sixth year, the annual Indent Tour is a skills development opportunity for young people in regional communities. Indent works directly with teams of young people aged 12-25 in each region to stage each show of the tour.
These teams will walk away with practical and transferable skills in event management, music business, and live performance acquired by working alongside leading industry professionals. Furthermore, Indent is the only tour of its kind in Australia.
A string of great local support acts have also been announced. Kicking off the first show of the tour in Campbeltown are The Dirty Reeds and The Last Exposure, while Orange punters will be treated to performances from Godfrey Turner Overdrive and Acrylic Acid.
Pop-rock act Mild Manic will be bringing their high energy to Batemans Bay alongside Colourblind. Hitting up Scone will be metalcore quintet The Affronted and local DJ prodigies Overwatch & Suspense.
Over in Goulburn, garage-punk acts Corpus and Propeller will be rocking the stage and for Indent’s first ever Sydney show, alt–rock metalcore group Vanity Riots and hard rock band Fifth Dawn will take the support reigns.
