Final acts have now been announced for the 2013 Heart of St Kilda Concert. In addition to the already stellar line-up, performing at this annual fundraiser, The Sacred Heart Mission are thrilled to announce the following performers to complete a sensational line up for 2013.

Dave Callan, a regular on Triple J and Rove, people are raving about Dave’s show at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Henry Wagons is an exciting, charismatic performer… one of the leading exponents of Australian neo-country music.

Melbourne’s own Saskwatch are also on the bill. Be blown away by the beat and horns-induced hurricane of this nine-piece soul fused R&B band. Everyone’s talking about them, don’t you miss out!

Rebecca Barnard, a much-loved singer-songwriter who channels the greats but is a complete original and will be joined by Billy Miller –a stalwart rocker of the Melbourne scene, formerly of 70s band The Ferrets, Billy has played Jesus Christ Superstar on stage and can play anything with his guitar.

Today’s announcement completes a spectacular line-up for the 2013 Heart of St Kilda concert which also includes:

The inimitable and consummate professional, Brian Nankervis (Rockwiz and Pictures of You), who will hold the night together as Master of Ceremonies.

This year will see the sixth annual Heart of St Kilda Concert hit the Palais Theatre on Tuesday 14 May 2013 – fundraising for St Kilda’s iconic Sacred Heart Mission.

The night promises some of the best in Australian music and comedy, past and present, with a line-up as diverse as the inhabitants of St Kilda.

This year’s Heart of St Kilda Concert aims to fund more than 30,000 breakfast and lunches, served by Sacred Heart Mission to people experiencing homelessness or poverty.

The first acts to be announced were Graveyard Train, Kate Ceberano – Melbourne’s first lady of soul, Darren Carr, Russell Gilbert, St Kilda three-piece Wishful,  Lisa Miller, and the ever-wonderful house band EVEN.

This year’s Heart of St Kilda Concert aims to fund more than 30,000 of the breakfast and lunches, served by Sacred Heart Mission to people experiencing homelessness or poverty every day of the year.

The Heart of St Kilda Concert is a great way to support Sacred Heart Mission, whose work in the community provides the basic necessities of life – food, clothing, emergency relief, accommodation and companionship – and creates pathways out of homelessness.
