Back in February, it was reported that two pioneers of 90s rock music, Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland and blink-182’s Travis Barker were were working on a collaborative project in the studio together.

The two revealed that they were working on a “yet to be titled new project” and had written “7 songs in 12 hours” whilst jamming in the studio together – as two integral figures in shaping the sound of pop punk and nu metal in the late 90s, it’s far to say we’re pretty excited to hear what the two have been cooking up together.

Now, Wes Borland has taken to Instagram to reveal more behind the scenes studio footage of the two working together yet again. In a caption, Borland revealed, “Only @travisbarker got documentation that today happened. More drums. More tomorrow on our new project that’s still yet to be named. This guy is the bees knees.”

The posts showcase Barker’s sheer drumming talent, with an audio snippet from behind the mixing board revealing a drum-roll style pattern that most blink fans would already be well acquainted with.

Borland also stated that more news regarding what the project was would be released today, however, the news has yet to be revealed.
