An Ice Cube Australian Tour 2014 has been announced, with the man Snoop Dogg called the “Greatest MC of all time” making his way back Down Under.

The rap game may change with players coming and going, but the 45-year-old O’Shea Jackson has remained a consistent legend of the hip hop game as the one and only Don Mega, Ice Cube.

The Ice Cube Australian Tour 2014 will see the West Coast icon playing three headline sideshows along the East Coast in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney this December. The tour will follow on from the October release of Ice Cube’s new album, Everythang’s Corrupt, his tenth solo album and his first in four year’s since its predecessor I Am The West.

One of the most important and influential figures in the entertainment world ever since being one of the infamous driving forces behind iconic West Coast crew N.W.A., Ice Cube has a long and successful solo career that includes ventures into film, television, and production, forging a legacy that spans over 25 years.

With millions of platinum and gold album sales worldwide, he has also collaborated with some of rap and hip hop royalty such as Public Enemy, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and Ice-T among others.

Ice Cube also has a storied film career as a producer, actor, and director, his filmograpy including Boyz In The Hood, the Friday series, Barbershop and his latest project, the long-awaited N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, tracking Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E and the crew’s rise to infamy.

With a killer catalogue at his disposal – including hip hop anthems such as ‘Check Yo’ Self’, ‘It Was A Good Day’, and N.W.A.’s ‘Fuck Tha Police’ and ‘Straight Outta Compton’ – Ice Cube is set to deliver killer shows on the Ice Cube Australian Tour 2014, make sure you’re there when he “starts some gangsta shit!”
