We’ve just got word from the touring company that had to do an embarrassing about face in July after Ice Cube denied he was touring, that in fact a tour has been booked in with dates in April next year.
The tour, originally planned for this week, was scuttled when a statement on Ice Cube’s official website stated “Rumors are circulating that Ice Cube is touring Australia in September. IT’S NOT TRUE. The Ice Cube tour is scheduled to hit Australia in APRIL 2012. Please don’t be fooled by the September rumors.”
The newly announced tour will take in Darwin, Adelaide, and Canberra in April, with dates yet be be confirmed for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Rappers can be notoriously hard to tour and work with, so we’re not holding out breath on this one until we’ve got word Ice Cube is actually in the country.
