Iggy Azalea has never been one to shy away from a good ol’ fashioned beef. Just last year the Mullumbimby-bred rapper was inches away from a punch on with Bhad Bhabie aka the ‘Cash Me Outside’ girl. Now, Azalea is embroiled in a feud with Australian Idol darling Guy Sebastian.
Sebastian and Azalea worked together as co-hosts on The X Factor in 2016. Sebastian has since been very vocal about his disdain for Azalea. In an interview on Kyle and Jackie O this morning, Sebastian, who is set to appear as a coach on the forthcoming series of the voice, opened up about his feud with Azalea. “I don’t like Iggy,” Sebastian shared. “She was awful to me.”
“I had stuff on with my kids, she made us wait like three hours or something, and then rocks up and has attitude,” Sebastian explained. “If I’m making everyone wait, which happens … at least charm it on a bit. Go, ‘Oh I’m so sorry I’m late.’ Make up something. Iggy would walk in and go, ‘My time is my time, whatever, get over it.’”
Azalea did not hesitate to hit back at Sebastian’s remarks. Taking to Twitter to clarify the situation. Azalea pointed out that there was no possible way that she could “be late” as X-Factor was filmed live.
“How can you be late for a show that was filmed on LIVE television firstly… I’d love to know guy!” Azalea wrote.
She then went on to claim that Guy Sebastian fabricated the initial beef in order to appease the showrunners so that Sebastian would stay on as a judge for the next season.
Oh and, she also delivered the most crippling blow of all time, wishing both guy and his fedoras the best of luck.
