An INXS Australian tour 2012 has been announced that will see the legendary Australian band tour Australia after 30 amazing years and over 5000 live shows played to 25 million people across 50 countries.
The tour has been a long time coming for fans of the band who have confirmed today that they will play dates in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia during June & July this year.
Following the success of recent overseas concerts which included lead singer Ciaran Gribbin, the Coast to Coast tour will take INXS to Australia’s rock heartlands, including Campbelltown, Coffs Harbour, Eaton Hills, Forster, Geelong, Hahndorf, Horsham, Jacobs Well, Lismore, Mt Gambier, Mudgee, Narrabri, Penrith, Shoalhaven, Toowoomba and Tweed Heads.
“International commitments have made it difficult to schedule a tour of this intensity to regional Australia before now, but finally the stars have aligned and we are really excited about getting back to the people who have been our core audience since the outset of the band,” INXS’s Andrew Farriss said.
“Regional Australia has been going through some tough times over the last year or so dealing with various floods and fires so we are excited to bring our live show to these areas.”
