A who’s who of the Australian music industry turned up to Melbourne’s Ding Dong Lounge yesterday for the announcement of the Triple J Awards. Fans mixed with industry bigwigs as hotly tipped act Stonefield took the stage, while unfortunately Megan Washington had to cancel her planned appearance as she was unwell, but still picked up best video clip for ‘Sunday Best’. Boy & Bear picked up the Unearthed Award with a bizarre electronic acceptance speech, while the big one, the award for Album of the Year went to Tame Impala.
