Jack White has produced and recorded a new album for 70-something rockabilly star Wanda Jackson, which will be coming out in January. White recorded the album for Jackson with an all star line up which included himself, his wife Karen Elson, the Raconteurs’ Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler, Patti Smith’s son/Meg White’s husband Jackson Smith, and My Morning Jacket’s Carl Broemel. The album is comprised of covers that White picked out, including a version of Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good” that Third Man has already put out as a single. The album will be released on White’s Third Man recordings on the 25th January.
