Having sold out two massive shows at Melbourne’s Max Watts this year, US rapper J.I.D has today announced a pair of Laneway Festival sideshows for 2020.
When the 2020 Laneway Festival dropped its lineup last month, fans were undoubtedly stoked to see that Atlanta rapper J.I.D was set to make his return to our shores.
Having served as support for J. Cole, and then kicking off his own headline dates in Melbourne earlier this year, local fans clearly can’t get enough of the 28-year-old musician, whose 2018 album DiCaprio 2 scored critical acclaim across the board.
Now, ahead of his appearance on the travelling festival in February, J.I.D has today announced that he’ll be bringing his unique, high-pitched sound to a pair of headline dates around the country.
Taking place between the Sydney and Adelaide dates of Laneway, these headline dates will kick off with an appearance at Max Watts in Sydney on Tuesday, February 4th, before wrapping up with a set at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Wednesday, February 5th.
Tickets to these headline dates go on sale from 10am on Monday, November 4th, with a Live Nation pre-sale running from 10am on Friday, November 1st until 9am on Monday, November 4th.
