Last week, the long-running, much-loved touring music event – St Jerome’s Laneway Festival – announced its 2020 dates and locations.

Ever since then, the rumour mill went into overdrive, with social media users taking to the internet with their tips as to who they thought would be playing.

Now, festival organisers have answered your each and every lineup-related question, this morning unleashing their whopper of a lineup for 2020.

Packed to the brim with acts of many and varying genres from Australia and abroad, the lineup especially focuses on the amazing pop music being created.

Leading the charge is UK pop-rock act The 1975, who are currently here for their own headline tour. Fresh from debuting a brand new track, ‘People’, Laneway Festival will be The 1975’s only headline shows for 2020.

Joining them is Charli XCX. The ever-loved and genre-bending English pop icon will play across all five Laneway shows, bringing with her a slew of hits from her back-catalogue, as well as tracks from her new record, Charli.
