Arizona emo icons Jimmy Eat World are set to make the most of their upcoming Australian return, announcing a run of headline dates earlier today.

It feels hard to believe, but 2019 marked 26 years since Jimmy Eat World first came together to kick off what would be a stunning musical career.

Known to many as one of the pioneering emo bands, the group received a massive brush with success following the release of 2001’s Bleed American, with songs like ‘The Middle’, ‘Sweetness’, and the title track receiving widespread acclaim.

Serving as frequent visitors to our shores, Jimmy Eat World were last in Australia back in 2017. Since then though, they’ve just released Surviving, their 10th studio album, and were recently announced as one of the major international visitors for the 2020 Download Festival.

Now, the group have expanded next year’s visit, announcing a run of headline dates earlier today.

Kicking things off in Fremantle on March 16th, the group will preface their festival appearances with a show at The Tivoli in Brisbane, before wrapping things up with a huge gig at The Gov in Adelaide.

Tickets to these shows go on sale from 2pm local time on Monday, December 9th, while a Frontier Touring pre-sale begins at 1pm AEDT on Friday, December 6th, and runs for 24 hours. Check out all the details below.
