John C. Reilly — the man behind some of the greatest comedy films of the 21st century— has tested out his rapping chops. Reilly appeared on the SiriusXM show Sway in The Morning. The show traditionally features a freestyle rap segment. This instalment saw Reilly rapping over a beat from Kanye West and Common’s 2007 collaboration “Southside”. Check out the footage below.

This isn’t Reilly’s first voyeur into the music world. In 2007 he scored himself an Oscar for his performance in Chicago, he also starred in musical biopic parody Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Reilly has also recorded a pair of singles with Jack White’s Third Man Records.
