John Farnham is set to kick off 2018 in the best way possible; by heading out on a summer tour with some of the finest names in Australian rock music.
The Red Hot Summer Tour is set to see John Farnham hit up Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania for a series of dates in February and March of 2018.
In addition to seeing one of the most famous names in Aussie rock history, audiences will also get the opportunity to spend an amazing Saturday afternoon taking in the classic tunes of Daryl Braithwaite, The Black Sorrows, Baby Animals, and 1927. So if you’re keen on the chance to be able to witness some of the most iconic Australian songs ever recorded, now’s the perfect chance.
“Audiences loved seeing John Farnham as part of the 2017 sold out tour,” said tour promoter Duane McDonald. “We’ve joined together an incredible Aussie line-up, some artists who have been part of the Red Hot Summer Tour family for a long time and some who we are newly welcomed to the stage. It is going to be a massive summer! We are taking the festival into some towns and venues that we have never played at before – look out, it is going to rock!”
Be warned, with a lineup featuring Aussie rock royalty of this calibre, tickets aren’t going to last long, so be sure to get in early to avoid disappointment. Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 24th, at 12pm, so you’ve got some time to prepare.
In the meantime, reacquaint yourself with one of the greatest pieces of Australian music ever recorded: John Farnham’s classic track ‘You’re The Voice’.
