Peter Hook from Joy Division is holding a tribute to Joy Division’s debut album, Unknown Pleasures, on the 30th anniversary of Ian Curtis’s death. The gig, to be held at his new Factory 51 nightclub in Manchester, will take place on the 18th of May. The ex-New Order bassist has assembled an all star line up for the event which will see the album played live from start to finish in tribute to the band’s front man who hanged himself in the kitchen of his Macclesfield home aged 24.
