Ex-members of Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake and Scorpions have formed a new super-group, A New Revenge, set to release their debut album Enemies & Lovers on March 25th.
The band consists of Judas Priest’s Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens on vocals, Alice Cooper and Slash’s Snakepit Keri Kelli, on guitar, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne and Whitesnake’s Rudy Sarzo on bass, and Scorpions’ James Kottak on drums.
Following the announcement of their debut album, the rock supergroup have released a video for their first ever single ‘The Way’ – a raunchy classic rock ditty that’ll transport you back to the good old days of high voltage riffage, leather pants wearing and Jack Daniels slinging.
The project as a whole is described by the band to be an ode “to hard rock fans the planet over.” Watch their debut single here.

“Beginning the songwriting process we said, ‘Let’s get together and come up with three or four original songs.’ Without any pressure, just creating as we went,” says Kelli. “Finally we got to the eleven songs we were all happy with. ‘Here’s To Us’ was the first song we wrote for this record. It came very fast and was pretty simple to write. Its basically an ode to hard rock fans the planet over.”
Discussing the record, Enemies & Lovers, he adds, “It’s been a long time coming but it’s completely finished mixed, mastered and all ready to go. We all really, really excited to finally unleash this on the hard rock community.”
Judas Priest are set to make their return to Australian shores for Download 2019, alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Anthrax, Slayer and more.
