It’s been a rough trot for Ozzy Osbourne. Over the past few months, he’s been diagnosed with a range of health issues. Just last month, Osbourne was forced to postpone the U.K. and European leg of his No More Tours II tour. After he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection. Now, it seems as though that infection has escalated.

As The Blast reports, Osbourne was forced to check into Keck Hospital of USC on Monday after suffering flu complications. This news was confirmed by Sharon Osbourne on Twitter. Sharon tweeted, “As some of you may have heard, Ozzy was admitted to hospital following some complications from the flu. His doctors feel this is the best way to get him on a quicker road to recovery. Thanks to everyone for their concern and love.”

After the cancellation of his No More Tours II tour, Ozzy released the following statement:

“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October, everything I touch has turned to shit.

First, the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”

There has been no word yet as to whether this new ailment will affect Ozzy’s scheduled appearance at Download Festival next month. Back in January, Download officials shared that they’re “confident he [Ozzy] will be in Australia fit and healthy this March.”

We wish Ozzy a speedy recovery.
