Pop starlet Katy Perry is the latest Hollywood celebrity to jump on the Gotye bandwagon, with the ‘TGIF Friday’ singer tweeting to her almost 10 million followers her own mini review of the new album Making Mirrors and urging them to buy it.
She first told followers on the weekend about his Number One smash hit ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ saying

Noticing one of her fans saying that they were proud of Gotye as an Australian, she retweeted the comment agreeing with the fan that the song ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ was one of her faves.

Things just keep getting better for Gotye at the moment, with his Australian tour sold out bar from two Perth gigs in December. If you’re on the East Coast, you’ll have to get a ticket for one of his appearances at the Foreshore Festival in Canberra, Pyramid Rock Festival in Victoria and Homebake and Peats Ridge Festivals in New South Wales.
His European and North American dates through October and November are also going off tap, with dates in London, Brussels and Amsterdam sold out.
