The Human riff has been hitting the publicity trail for his autobiography, Life, which is out later this month, and the tidbits being fed to the media are getting nice and juicy. In an interview with London’s The Times, Keef has taken a swipe at Mick Jagger, declaring his bandmate to be ‘unbearable’. He also suggests that Mick has become the ultimate prima donna and now refers to him as ‘Brenda’ or ‘Your Majesty’. “I used to love Mick, but I haven’t been to his dressing room in 20 years,” Richards said. “Sometimes I think, ‘I miss my friend’. I wonder, ‘Where did he go?’.”

The book doesn’t hold back when it comes to discussing his bandmate, and Keef apparently writes: “It was the beginning of the eighties when Mick started to become unbearable.” Keef has also revealed that Jagger read a draft of the book and only asked for the revelation that he’d used a voice coach be removed. Naturally Keef refused and has included it in the book.
