Get ready to go wild, because King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are set to maintain their status as Australia’s hardest working bands, announcing a national tour earlier today.
If you’ve been paying attention in the last few months, then you’d be aware that 2019 is shaping up to be a pretty big year for King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
With a new record already set for release later this month, the group decided to do us one better by releasing a non-album track, the thrash metal-inspired ‘Planet B’.
However, in true King Gizz fashion, it doesn’t end there, because the group have just sorted out your mid-year concert plans, revealing dates for a national tour earlier today.
Kicking off in Melbourne at the end of June, these gigs will see King Gizzard “launching their new show” at a bunch of stunning local venues.
Heading to Brisbane, Sydney, and Adelaide, King Gizzard will wrap up their tour just three weeks later with a pair of shows in Perth.
Tickets to these upcoming gigs will go on sale at 9am AEST on Wednesday, April 17th.
Heads-up though, with new tunes on the way, you might want to get in quick to ensure you don’t miss out on one of the wildest Aussie tours of 2019.
