With just under two weeks to go until their final-ever Australian tour kicks off, rock icons KISS have now revealed the date on which the band will cease to exist.

Earlier this year, influential rock gods KISS revealed that 2019 would see them kick off their ‘End Of The Road’ tour, officially closing the book on the band once and for all.

Needless to say, dedicated fans were disappointed to know that the musical icons would be calling it quits, but grateful to be given the chance to see the band performing once more while they’re still on top of their game.

Now, with the band’s final-ever tour of the country set to kick off in just a couple of weeks, KISS have revealed just when the band will wrap up their lengthy career.

As Ultimate Classic Rock reports, KISS recently wrapped up their KISS Kruise, performing their second and final indoor concert before announcing that 90 new tour dates would be unveiled soon.

“We’ve been on the End of the Road tour, and people have said, ‘When is the last show?'” explained frontman Paul Stanley. “So, we’re here to tell you that the end of the road comes to an end on July 17, 2021 in New York City.”

A countdown clock behind the band reportedly revealed that this means that KISS only have 622 days, 23 hours, and 51 minutes before the band wraps up for good.

Of course, the only question that remains now is just where KISS will be holding their final-ever concert. Earlier this year, the band performed at New York City’s Madison Square Garden to a sold-out crowd of 13,359.

While this would be an iconic, sizeable venue for a band of KISS’ calibre to bow out at, it seems as though we’ll be hearing more about the plans for their finale in the coming months.
