Knocked Loose will headline Froth & Fury Fest 2027 when it returns to the Adelaide Showground on Saturday, January 30th, 2027.

The festival has announced 11 new acts in its second wave, including Florida death metal band Deicide, hardcore act Terror, Bay Area thrash band Death Angel, Canadian group Cancer Bats and UK act Heriot.

The Australian additions are Adelaide straight-edge hardcore band Stressed, Newcastle’s Feel The Pain, Sydney punk band Arse, Adelaide’s Guantanamo Bay City Rollers and blackened death metal act Oath of Damnation.

Froth & Fury co-organiser Jason North says the second announcement pushes the festival another major step forward.

“Having Knocked Loose headline is obviously massive for us. They’re one of the biggest and most exciting heavy bands in the world right now, so to have them sitting at the top of a Froth & Fury lineup is pretty special for us,” he said.

“What I really love though is how deep this announcement goes. You’ve got Deicide, Terror, Death Angel doing a special ACT III set, Cancer Bats and Heriot, all bringing something completely different, and then underneath that we’ve got some seriously good Australian bands coming through as well.

“That mix is really what Froth & Fury has always been about for us. Big international names, established Australian bands and artists coming straight out of the underground, all on the same festival.”

Froth & Fury is an independently run heavy, punk and alternative festival based in South Australia. It is held at the Adelaide Showground, the former home of Big Day Out. This year’s event will include an expanded Tattoo Parlour, markets, food trucks and live entertainment, with more to be announced.

Earlier this year, the festival confirmed its first wave of acts, including Clutch, Alpha Wolf, Carpenter Brut, Igorrr, Corrosion of Conformity, Death To All, 28 Days, Dark Angel, and many more, with organisers confirming this is only the first of three planned announcements.

The festival is licensed for all ages, with kids under 10 admitted free.
