In “a personal message from the band”, legendary punk rock outfit L7 have announced the cancellation of their eagerly anticipated Australian tour, promising they will return as some point in 2016.

“L7 regret to announce that due to a family health emergency of a private, non-trivial nature, we will have to postpone our upcoming U.S. and Australian tour dates,” they write on their official Facebook page.

“Although some of the shows were just very recently announced, LIFE HAPPENS and when it does you have to step up and take care of business for the ones you love.”

“Speaking of some other ones we love (YOU) … this is just a postponement. We plan to see you in 2016, just a few more months down the line. In the meantime, stay tuned here.”

“We will continue to post fun stuff and read your beautiful and sometimes hilarious comments. Thanks for your understanding! With much love and appreciation, L Fuckin’ 7.”
