Hmm, well not quite if you’re as level headed as we are down at Tone Deaf HQ, but the Twittersphere has cracked it after a photo was posted showing everyone’s favourite trannie Lady Gaga playing John Lennon’s piano in his apartment in the Dakota Building in New York City, outside which he was fatally shot by deranged fan Mark Chapman on December 8th 1980.
Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono still lives in the apartment, and her son with John, Sean Lennon, has leapt to the world’s favourite pole dancer’s defence, tweeting “Pianos are meant to be played. Why is everyone so uptight? Come on, lighten up… life’s too short. There are enough real problems in the world.” Let it be, indeed.
