What has 2013 consisted of for the band?
Our main man Lightbulb Fyshwick was abroad up until June, so since then we’ve been playing a lotta shows to dust off the cobwebs and fund our new album.

“The Grrr” was released earlier this year, can we expect to see a full release sometime in the future?
The clip as released is still unfinished…it’s a long song for Legends and we ran out of footage; the album itself is in the can and should be out around March 2014.

The video for “The Grrr” is ripping! Where was it filmed?
Mostly Morocco, and the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia.

Where did the idea for the clip come from?
The song is kind of epic and I think one thing just kind of led to another.  The lyrics of the song leave plenty of space for conceptual embellishment.

Will this be your first Cherryfest?
Cherryfest yes, though we have played Cherry Rock before, the year the place was burnt out/flooded, so it will be good to actually play one in AC/DC Lane.

What was your reaction when you were added to the Cherryfest line-up?
I felt warm in my pants.

What can the punters of Cherryfest expect from a Legends of Motorsport set?
Amplifiers and/or speakers catching fire (yes, speakers can catch fire…it’s funny), organ licks and licking, guitars held aloft, crazed, frenetic envelope pushing, smoke, sunglasses, yeah uh huh.  Like someone getting onstage in a hot muscle car and doing a 40 minute burnout.

Will the set consist of many new tracks?
We’ve actually been having fun revisiting our back catalogue the last few gigs, which is unusual for us, so the set will likely be a brash cocktail of Legends hits old and new.

Are there any other bands on the line-up you’re particularly excited to check out?
The Powdermonkeys should be worth an eyeball, and those guys from Kadaver look like they can bring the dad rock.

The band has played alongside some pretty huge names! Who has been the greatest highlight for you all?
Meredith is always special, but I usually have the most fun playing with our local muchachos…Warped, Sotis/TTTDC, Sun God Replica, Wicked City…better the devil you know…

What does 2014 have in store for the band?
Album finally released, tour, gig-related injuries, new vistas, broad horizons, endless possibilities, more cowbell, sunglasses having near death experiences, big fun.
