Indie- folk group, Passenger’s latest release All the Little Lights is thought provoking and it has us asking questions like; “who needs love when you have silicone and strap ons?” The stars of the album are the tracks ‘Let Her Go’, ‘All the Little Lights’, ‘Keep On Walking’ and ‘Life’s for the Living.’ The up-beat songs and catchy lyrics throughout the whole album are a credit to the band; they have successfully combined amazing lyrics with catchy beats that have you tapping along.
The Husky voice of front man Mike Rosenberg is quite soothing and seductive at the same time; it has an air of maturity and sincerity that creates some kind of warm feeling in every song.
It is the perfect album to take travelling or listen to in the midst of a nervous breakdown. Offering humour, intertwined with inspirational and thought provoking lyrics, it’s the excellent combination for a feel good album. I suspect Passengers, All The Little Lights will be in the big lights very soon.
