Lil Jon will star in his own home renovation show, Lil Jon Wants To Do What?, set to arrive later this year on HGTV.

Lil Jon is set to team up with designer Anita Mecadron, in a home renovation series that’ll see the pair persuade “skeptical homeowners startlingly unconventional renovation ideas that seem impossible to execute.” The series was first teased in March, now it seems that the crossover we didn’t expect but so deeply desire is coming to fruition.

“I love walking into someone’s house and turning it upside down,” Lil Jon said of the series.  “When people hear my name, they automatically think … fun! That same energy goes for my designs as well. I don’t love following design trends — I would rather be the trendsetter.”

Details about the forthcoming series are sparse, though apparently, Jon’s ideas include renovating a dilapidated basement to a  “fully decked-out speakeasy.” We’re in for a

Rumour has it that the working title of the show was “Torn Down For What?” and it is so, so disappointing that they backed out on what is quite frankly, a perfect name.

For those that live in that silo of the internet where they exclusively lap up Architectural Digest tours of celebrity homes, this is going to be the crème de la crème of entertainment.
