Lil Pump has declared that he is over music, and is officially quitting. The ‘Gucci Gang’ rapper rose to prominence in 2017 but has since then remained out of the spotlight assumedly working on new things.

Lil Pump has officially announced that he’s done with music. The 19-year-old (former) rapper made the surprise announcement on social media.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, as most celebrities do these days, the Miami rapper made the announcement atop a post of his new diamond watch. The caption read “I’m done doing music I quit”. So far the rapper has not revealed any info as to why he has decided to quit, or whether or not this is all just an elaborate joke.

His retirement from music arrives just three months after dubbing himself the “HOTTEST RAPPER IN THE PLANET RN.”

Just three month ago the 2018 XXL Freshman was boasting himself as the hottest rapper on the planet. He was also welcomed by a sea of fans when he hit the stage at Rolling Loud Los Angeles to pay tribute to his late friend Juice Wrld. He even helped out the homeless by passing out food and clothes on Skid Row during the holidays.

At only 19 years of age however, it seems that Lil Pump is ready to work on new endeavours. Though this may come as a shock to his loyal fanbase, we have to wait and see what the next steps are for the former rapper.

Back in 2019, Pump became the face of a cannabis company called Smoke Unhappy. Pump reportedly joined the team to serve as the face of the brand and an official product tester. The “Gucci Gang” rapper also works with the brand by offering his own creative and marketing ideas.
