Philadelphia mumble-rap wunderkind Lil Uzi Vert has announced that he is quitting music. Last Friday, the ‘XO Tour Llif3’ rapper posted a story on Instagram declaring that he is “done with music” and wants to “wake up in 2013.”

Lil Uzi deleted all music-related content from his Instagram. Explaining “I deleted everything I wanna be normal… You are free”.

This announcement comes a month after Lil Uzi revealed that he had finished recording his second full length album, Eternal Atake. There has been no word yet as to whether Uzi’s decision to quit music will impact the albums release.
