Lily Allen does not stop trying when it comes to bequeathing offspring to the world. She got hitched on the weekend to boyfriend Sam Cooper, a builder, and also took the opportunity to tell the assembled throng of celebrities that she was up the duff again.
Cooper told the crowd that he was about to become a Dad during the speeches. The news was confirmed after 26 year old Allen was walked down the aisle by her father, actor Keith Allen; with her dress designer, Delphine Manivet, confirming the happy news to the waiting crowd of media, saying “It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her. She is very happy about that – it is something wonderful.”
Allen has not had a great string of luck with previous pregnancies – sadly suffering a miscarriage at six months last year and also another to previous boyfriend, Chemical Brother Ed Simons. Allen’s dress designer, who was unable to make the ceremony, says “I was very happy to see the photos, and that all was perfect and really lovely. I sent some girls from my team in my place, and I last saw Lily six days ago. Lily is a girl who is quite rock and roll, but her wedding she wanted to be traditional.”
