It’s time to start shaping that beard of yours into a chin strap because Limp Bizkit are bringing back their OG lineup. The band have announced that they will be playing a gig at the Troubadour in Los Angeles tomorrow night, for the whopping price of $3 — a homage to their 1997 record.

As COS points out, with DJ Lethal rejoining the band last year, the only original member missing is guitarist Rob Waters. Waters briefly played the guitar from 94-95 before Wes Borland joined the lineup. It’s fair to assume that the original lineup for this show will include Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, DJ Lethal, and John Otto.

The band announced the show via their Facebook page, sharing a poster with the caption “Original line up.

In case you missed it, last month, Staind frontman Aaron Lewis likened the great Fred Durst to the Dalai Lama. After performing the track ‘Epiphany’, Lewis went on to sing high praises for Durst, who directed the video for the track. Sharing, “You know we spent – well we didn’t. Well, we did – but Fred spent like a million and a half dollars on that fucking video. Dumb shit. There’s so many ways I could have spent that money.” Read more about it now.

Back in November, it was confirmed that Limp Bizkit were in the studio working on their first album since 2011’s Gold Cobra. The band were forced to delay the recording process of the record due to the devastating wildfires that spread throughout California. At the time of the fires, Borland took to Instagram to update fans about their progress, sharing:

“Getting warmed up to actually make a brand new Limp Bizkit album,” he wrote. “We would have started last Saturday but were displaced by the fires and lost some gear.”

“Getting back on our feet and in the studio within the week.”
