Linkin Park released their fourth studio album last week, and have announced an Australian Tour to accompany the release of A Thousand Suns. It would appear that their brand of nu-metal has had its time in the sun and it’ll be interesting to see whether the band’s bogan commercial radio audience will still be willing to shell out for the tour.

Interestingly, it’s also taking place in possibly the most crowded month of touring in Australia ever. Competing for punter wallets this December against Bon Jovi, U2, The Meredith Festival, No Sleep Til…Festival, Gorillaz, Guns n’ Roses, The Eagles and Muse, you wonder just how much the saturated festival and tour market can take.
